eSIM: Justifying your next Phone Upgrade

Justifying your next Phone Upgrade Forget the upgraded camera, the eSIM is the innovation in the new phones that will allow you to justify upgrading your phone. What is an eSIM? An eSIM is an  'embedded'  SIM module that is built-in to a device giving the user ability to download & add new mobile plans over the air, without having to physically purchase a SIM Card or need to fiddle around with paperclips and opening your SIM tray. Like other dual SIM handsets an eSIM provides you with the ability to run in dual SIM mode meaning you can keep your home SIM Card safely inside your phone whilst you are overseas.  This avoids you having to swap out and potenitally lose or damage your home SIM and keeps your  number active  for use in an emergency. Flexiroam X eSIM for more affordable data. eSIM is enabled on the following models: iPhone XR iPhone XS iPhone XS Max iPhone 11 iPhone 11 Pro iPhone 11 Pro Max iPad Pro 3rd Gen (12.9 inch, WiFi+Cellular) iPad Pro 3rd Gen (12.9 inch, 1T

Flexiroam X: Outbound Calling

Flexiroam X: Voice Calling Feature We have solved the main problem faced by many travellers - expensive data roaming. The vast majority of our customers have told us:  "We don't   need   call minutes when travelling - we just want more data!" With the rise in popularity of messaging and social media apps we generally agree. However, from time to time it can be handy to use a phone for what it was originally designed to do - make a phonecall! So, we would like to take you Back to the Future: Introducing – Voice Calls! Now you can use your  'data only'  Flexiroam X service to make phone calls to anyone, anywhere in over 150 countries!   What's even better is that unlike other Travel SIMs or SIMs bought locally, the calls are placed with your own caller ID! This means avoiding having to tell everyone to update their contacts with a temporary number. It also means, that the person you are calling will know that it's you. This means they will actually answer yo

Voicemail Roaming

International Voicemail Roaming can ruin your holiday! If you have ever used voicemail while abroad, you will know how costly and difficult it can be to retrieve your messages while you're away. If you don't turn off conditional call forwarding and your phone is turned on whilst you are overseas, and you receive a call that you don't answer, your phone will divert the call back to Australia as an International roaming call call. If you then call in and listen to the voicemail, you will also be charged for a international roaming call. If you then return this call, you will be charged again at International Roaming rates. Given the above, it is easy to see why so many traveller's rack up enormous overseas roaming bills without even realising it. You can avoid these charges whilst overseas by enabling 'permanent call forwarding' before you leave. Whilst in this state, all calls to your number will automatically divert straight to voicemail instead of ringing. This
